This website is run by Sauna Guys, who design, build and install home, garden, barrel and trailer saunas across Ireland. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website.

Enquiry form. When you send us a sauna enquiry, we receive your name, email address, phone number, address and your message, plus any other details you choose to add. We use this only to reply to you, prepare a quote, arrange a site visit and plan your build. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
Email and phone. If you email or call us, we use your details to deal with your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to build, deliver and install your sauna.
Spam protection. Our form uses Google reCAPTCHA to stop automated spam. reCAPTCHA checks your device and how you use the page, and Google receives information such as your IP address. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping our forms secure.
Social media. If you follow a link to our Instagram or LinkedIn, you leave our website and those platforms’ own privacy policies apply.
Website analytics. Only if you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to see how visitors use the site, for example which pages are visited and whether someone sends an enquiry or taps to call. We do not use this to identify you. The legal basis is your consent.
We do not sell your information. We only share it with the service providers we need to run the business and this website:
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, they rely on safeguards approved under EU law, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
We keep enquiries for up to 12 months if they do not lead to an order. If you order a sauna from us, we keep the related records for as long as Irish tax and accounting law requires, normally six years, and for any warranty period. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Under the GDPR you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We only use necessary cookies by default.
